Installation Technician

Work on Construction and Post-Construction Sites.
Install, Terminate, and Test CAT and RG Cabling.
Install Electronics fixtures such as Wireless Access Points, Cameras, TV’s, ceiling speakers etc.
Must be able to drive a company vehicle.
Must have basic hand tools.
Lift 40 lbs.
Climb ladders.
Job is typically 8-5pm Monday-Friday.
Some out of state travel is an option.
Experience is preferred, but not necessary.
Position is part-to-full time during evaluation period.
Upon successfully completing the evaluation period, position is full-time.

Service Technician

Must have a valid driver’s license.
Technician will primarily travel from apartment complex to apartment complex troubleshooting and repairing Internet outages and issues for tenants
Must be knowledgeable in Windows and familiar with networking commands via command prompt
Network+, CCNA, or equivalent networking knowledge a major plus
Knowledge of Mikrotik routers a plus, but not required
Knowledge of Cisco switching and Cisco IOS commands a major plus
Termination of Ethernet cables with RJ45 ends and Keystone jacks
Must be able to set up and troubleshoot any SOHO router a tenant may have
Must be able to lift and carry up to 75lbs
Must be able to carry and climb a collapsible ladder and be able to navigate attic spaces on rare occasion
Will be occasionally responsible for repairing, replacing, and maintaining existing distribution network equipment
Extensive training will be provided to learn to use specialized tools such as cable mapper, fiber tester, and other equipment as needed
Needs to be open to learning new technical skills such as fiber optic termination
Must be willing to perform DirecTV satellite service calls as needed (all training will be provided, no previous experience with satellite necessary)
Will need to fill out internal customer tickets in a professional and accurate manner
Must be professional and courteous dealing with apartment managers, residents, and business customers
